The mushroom swivel headgear clips from Philips Respironics are composed of softer materials and have a mushroom-shaped head with a more ergonomic grip area than the older design black ball clip. Extensive testing has revealed that the mushroom-shaped design extends the life of the mask frame socket region significantly over the previous design.

EASIER TO USE & BREAK RESISTANT:
The mushroom-shaped form of these clips distributes stress during mask removal better, redirecting it to the body of the mask faceplate rather than the socket area walls. Furthermore, these clips have a significantly bigger grip surface and higher bumps than prior Philips Respironics headgear clips, which increase ergonomics and convenience of use, especially for patients with poor hand dexterity.

BETTER FOR YOUR MASK!:
These clips are composed of a softer substance than earlier model plastic headgear clips, reducing stress on your mask's socket area and preventing frame damage or cracks. Because the new ball clip is made of a softer material, its shaft will show wear over time, as demonstrated by noticeable nicks. This is completely normal and to be expected; material nicks will not cause clip breaking. According to Respironics testing, the new design will extend the life of the socket region by more than ten times.

USAGE:
All ComfortGel (Original) Nasal, ComfortGel BLUE Nasal, ComfortGel (Original) Full Face, ComfortFusion, ComfortSelect, ComfortFull, and ComfortFull 2 CPAP & BiPAP masks will function with these clips.

COLORS:
The company used to make Ball & Socket Headgear Clips in two colours: dark grey and light grey (or light blue), but the lighter colour is no longer available. Any mask that previously used light grey (or light blue) clips can be used with dark grey clips.
